At first , I though that kid wants to commit suicide by sitting his wood airplane LOL wth , well absolutely wrong , just catch up the story after google it, damn meaningful.

The little kid is not committing suicide, he has made a boxcar with wings which will take him from one island, where he is stranded, to another island, where his mother is waiting in their home for him to return. Umbrella Beach is a surreal view of the story of The Prodigal Son. The song is all about how the boy ran away from home, then realized what he had done, and at that, went to great lengths to undo the pain he had caused his mother and thus decided to return back to his home.
